Chocolate Chip Cookie Mug

Chocolate Chip Cookie Mug

Curling up on the couch to watch a chick flick and enjoy a quiet evening.   Except one thing was missing.  My sweet tooth was really wanting a chocolate chip cookie.  Not having any freshly made cookies what is a girl to do?  Make a Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Mug.

Single serving cookie, perfect for just little ole me.  Pouring a glass of milk and gathering everything I needed to throw together this sweet cookie.  Less than 5 minutes I was back curled on the couch, movie going, nice warm cookie in my mug and a glass of cold milk to wash it down.  Life is good.

Ingredients for one single serving mug cookies.

1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
pinch salt
1 egg yolk
3 Tablespoons flour
3 Tablespoons chocolate chips

Choose a microwave safe mug or small bowl.

Melt butter in the microwave.  Add sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.  Stir to combine.
Add egg yolk and stir to combine.
Add flour and mix until all combined.  If the mixture is still to thin add one tablespoon of flour at a time.  Mixture should be thick like cookie dough.
Add chocolate chips and finish mix everything together.

Flatten cookie dough with back of your spoon.

Microwave for 40 seconds at 70%

If the dough is still not done microwave for 10 seconds intervals until your cookie is cooked.  Don’t over cook unless you want a hard and dry cookie.

Go enjoy your single chocolate chip cookie mug and watch a great movie.  ENJOY!
