Double Pork Sliders

My intentions were to put these on a nice pretty plate to show you how good they are.  My family had other intentions.  Instead you get to see my scratched up pan along with some delicious and easy to put together Double Pork Sliders.

Why are they called Double Pork Sliders?  There is not only boneless pork chops in the sliders but bacon as well.  It was a match made in heaven.  Come along and make these quick, delicious sliders.

Double Pork Sliders

12 thin cut boneless pork chops
1 package of bacon fried
12 small buns
2 Tablespoon butter softened
Black pepper
BBQ Sauce

Slice buns in half and butter each side of the bun.
In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels.
In a large skillet cook pork chops on each side for around 4 to 5 minutes or until done completely through.
While cooking sprinkle pork chops with black pepper.
Cup pork chop in half if to big.
Place one piece of pork chop on bun.
Tear one piece of bacon into two pieces and place one piece on top of pork chop.
Repeat with second piece of pork chop and second piece of bacon.
Place one teaspoon of BBQ sauce on top of bacon.
Fill all the rolls and place in a 13 x 9 baking pan.
Using a brush and melted butter brush the tops of the buns.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Bake for 10 minutes

Option:  Add a slice of provolone cheese.

Serve with extra BBQ Sauce and ENJOY!

  1. I’ve made these with those Hawaiian rolls and they’re always a hit! The sweetness of the pork and bun coupled with the vinegar bitterness of the bbq sauce is yummy!

  2. Sounds like an easy recipe, and a big hit! My kids always seem to love sliders, there is something about being able to grab one of these little sandwiches. We love provolone cheese too!
