If baking your chips.  Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Spread on baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes or until crisp.  Sprinkle with salt.

See how easy that was.  Here is a corn tortilla recipe if your interested in make your own.

The secret to making corn tortilla chips is to use masa harina (found at your local mexican grocery store) and water.

Yes, that is all it takes, two simple ingredients for freshly made corn tortillas.

1 3/4 cups masa harina
1 1/8 cups hot water

Mix the masa marina and water until it forms a dough.  Knead until pliable and smooth.  If dough is sticky add more masa marina, if it begins to dry out sprinkle with water.

Cover dough with plastic wrap let rest for 30 minutes.

Divide dough into 15 equal size balls.  Using a tortilla press, rolling-pin or your hands, press each all of dough flat between two sets of plastic wrap.

Preheat cast iron skillet or griddle to medium heat.

Place tortilla in skillet and allow to cook for 30 seconds.  Your tortilla should be brown and slightly puffy.  Turn tortilla over to brown second side.

Transfer to a plate and repeat with rest of your tortillas.

Keep your tortillas warm by covering with a towel.

Whatever way you choose to make your tortillas, always make them fresh!  ENJOY!
